This project, located on a rare homesite in the hills of Emerald Bay in Laguna Beach, began with a concept by renowned designer Bob White. In collaboration with the client, we carried the project forward as architect of record—expanding the program, refining the design, and preparing the plans for permit.

A contemporary facade of glass and steel opens the home to the horizon, while slate, copper, and Italian white-washed brick lend a sense of warmth and permanence. Inside, vaulted ceilings and a central stair anchor the design and draw you to the upper floor, with gathering spaces extending seamlessly to a patio and waterfall-edge pool. A glass-lined catwalk leads to the Primary Suite, where panoramic views continue to shape the experience of the home.
